About Dads Figure It Out Foundation

Dads Figure It Out Foundation (“DFIO Foundation”) recognizes and uplifts dads through simple, meaningful moments — DFIO Dad Recognitions, keepsake challenge coins and merch, the DFIO Community GiveBack free nationwide giveaway (a fun, no-purchase-required giveaway with a growing free giveaway items list), and a growing network of DFIO Dads who show up to encourage other fathers online.

Our Mission

To celebrate and support fathers who strengthen their families and communities — one recognition, one story, and one connection at a time.

What we do

DFIO Dad Recognitions

We spotlight dads nominated by family, friends, and the community. Each selected dad receives a DFIO Dad Recognition package — including a keepsake DFIO challenge coin, DFIO-branded merch, and a social-media spotlight (with consent) that reminds him he’s seen, valued, and appreciated.

DFIO Community GiveBack

The DFIO Community GiveBack is our free nationwide giveaway — a fun, no-purchase-required giveaway that is completely free to participate in. Every in-kind donation we receive is added to a free giveaway items list, and each item is gifted individually to dads, families, and DFIO supporters during virtual events and online appreciation moments.

The DFIO Dads network

As more dads are recognized, we invite them into a growing DFIO Dads community. When a dad online is clearly struggling or needs encouragement, DFIO Dads are encouraged to show up in Lives, drop supportive comments, and even become ongoing mentor-style connections where it feels natural and healthy.

Phase 1: all 50 states

In our first phase, DFIO is focused on social-media–based recognitions with a clear goal: recognize at least one dad in all 50 states. As we move toward that milestone, we are also laying the groundwork for future in-person recognitions and expanded programs built on this same spirit of encouragement.

Our core values

Recognition

We highlight everyday dads and their quiet, meaningful contributions.

Community

We partner with families, local businesses, and supporters — and invite DFIO Dads themselves — to help encourage fathers who are “figuring it out” every day.

Dignity

Stories are shared only with permission. We protect each dad’s privacy and honor the way his family wants his story told.
